Volunteers don't necessarily have the time, but they have the heart. We all know that our volunteers keep our ministries operating smoothly. They provide passion for the task, genuine love for the kids and their families and the commitment, not just to be there when needed, but to make an eternal impact on these children. It's great, then, to be able to recognise and thank them, even though it's in small and insignificant ways, for their tireless devotion. A creative thank you idea Since we've recently looked at the fun and creative uses of Blu-Tack in our children's ministries in a previous post, how about giving a pack to each of your volunteers as a fun yet heart-felt gift of appreciation? The free Blu-Tack gift design pdf can be found below and you will also find pdf with some suggestions for using Blu-Tack in kidmin. Print off the 'volunteer thank you' pdf, wrap around the pack of Blu-Tack and secure with tape. |
Print off the pdf of list of Blu-Tack ideas and attach to the back of your pack/s of Blu-Tack and give to your volunteers. But how about turning it into a team activity and asking them to come up with some great uses for Blu-Tack that they have found as they've worked in your ministry? Create a special 'Blu-Tack ideas' post on your kidmin Facebook page and encourage your volunteers to add their own ideas or even photos of their uses for Blu-Tack. You might like to give a prize for whoever has the best or most ideas.
